1. Masjid An-Nur



This stunning mosque which known as Masjid An-Nur is located inside Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in Seri Iskandar, Perak. It is a well-known mosque among Perak’s folk. This mosque is not limited as a worship place for Muslims but it also acts as a house of learning and a place whereby knowledge is acquired by all people of various backgrounds. Besides, calm yourself with the beautiful sunset sight, sitting on the bench there or maybe feed the fishes and also get some architecture idea I guess. This stunning and unique piece of architecture design itself is mesmerizing enough to attract people and not to mention that the interior design of the mosque displays the beauty of Islamic arts and architecture through calligraphy and geometric patterns. 2. Hock Soon Keong Temple


Built since 175 years ago, the Teluk Intan Hock Soon Keong Temple which also known as Fu Shun Gong Temple situated in Jalan Wah Keng Joo, Pekan Teluk Intan, Teluk Intan, Perak. This temple might be a great choice if you haven’t been to a classic traditional Chinese temple that is open from 9am to 5pm daily. Elements of southern Chinese architecture could be found in the historical building design with the most prominent feature being the elaborately decorated upturned eaves which are reminiscent of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Over a century of joss-stick smoke has caused the roof timbers to blacken. Back in the colonial era, the role of Hock Soon Temple was as the CenterPoint of the Hokkien Community in Teluk Intan, Perak. The temple took on the role of judge and solved all kinds of problems that arose in the local community. Opposite the temple, there is also a 100 years old mosque, which is commonly mentioned as a typical illustration of religious harmony in Malaysia. 3. Leaning Tower Teluk Intan

The Malaysian equivalent of the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy was built in 1885 is a famous landmark of Teluk Intan, which is the largest city in Hilir Perak. The tower is slightly slanted to the left with a height of 25.5 metres and open from 8am to 5pm. It was constructed in 1885 by Mr. Leong Choon Cheong and some Ceylonese contractors and initially used to store water supply to be consumed by the locals. The interesting part of this building is that it gives visitors an impression of an eight-storey building from the outside, but in actual fact it is divided into 3 storeys only. Curious of its inner structure? Come over now! You will most probably be fascinated by the amazing architectural style of this national monument. It is not as old, nor as tall, nor as famous as its Italian counterpart but it does have a distinct incline and that makes a curiosity worth visiting. A must historical site to visit and treasure in Perak.

4. Turtle Conservation

Turtle Conservation and Information Centre located in Pangkor Island which is one of the most enchanting holiday destination islands in the country for its beautiful beaches and its crystal clear water provide a great experience for as you gain a close interaction with young and adult turtle at the breeding farm. For your information, this centre is currently building the turtle exhibits that will provide visitors with more information on the turtles that are being bred here. Sounds great? 5. Bukit Kledang

A hill rising above the suburb of the little town called Menglembu. It is 800 meters tall, and with multiple trails which leads to the different part of the hill. Bukit Kledang is a perfect spot for hikers especially in the early morning to enjoy the stunning sunrise view before their eyes. The best viewpoint of Bukit Kledang is at the exercise corner (350 meters) GPS 4.58159, 101.02355. An area with unobstructed view overlooking Perak at 350 meters. Along the way to the peak, there are biking and hiking trails which make it convenient for all mountain bikers and hikers. Bukit Kledang is a 9.3 kilometer heavily trafficked loop trail located near Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia that features a waterfall and is rated as difficult. If you are an outdoorsy kind of person, you should come here to enjoy the natural environment where mountains are covered in lush greenery.
