The Batu Lanchang Market Food Complex is one of the places that has almost all kinds of famous dishes in Penang. 5. Ah Lye Cozy Cafe (Non-Halal)


Ah Lai Coffee Shop, which originally opened under a big tree is an authentic breakfast shop that locals and tourists like to visit. Named Under the Big Tree, the biggest feature is that there is a very large tree interspersed on the roof, so you won’t feel the sultry heat even if you come at midday. Famous for its coffee special, toast with eggs and curry mee with cheese. Definitely a great place for a light breakfast.

6. Penang Street Art


Shout out to mural lovers! Finding hidden murals is one of the most enjoyable activities to do in Penang. 7. Penang Avatar Secret Garden

Located at Tanjung Tokong, the Penang Avatar Secret Garden is a Pandora inspired secret garden. The branches and trunks of the tree are draped with neon LED lights that light up the place entirely at night. The secret garden decorated with the colourful neon lights is absolutely a sight to behold. Climbing up a few flights of stairs to reach the Avatar Secret Garden will not be a matter when you can enjoy the beauty of the vibrant colours. Come early and be ready to be fascinated by the magnificent view in front of your eyes as the lights will be turned on at 7:35 pm sharp.
